If you want to remove a Facebook or Instagram connection established via NB Social or have stored app data deleted, you will find the steps for this here.
1. Disconnect in WordPress
An administrator can remove the connection directly in WordPress under NB Social > Settings > Meta / Facebook using the Disconnect function. This removes the connection details for Facebook and Instagram stored in NB Social from the active configuration.
2. Revoke app access at Meta
We also recommend revoking the access in your Meta / Facebook account. This is done via the settings Meta provides for connected apps, business integrations or page permissions. Only then is it ensured that any existing tokens or permissions are no longer usable on the platform side.
3. Deletion request to Net-Base
If you wish to submit an explicit deletion request, please send a message to with the subject Deletion NB Social / Meta App. Please provide, where possible:
- the affected Facebook page or Instagram Business ID
- the context of the connection, if known
- contact details for follow-up questions
We will review the request and delete the affected app data within the scope of technical and legal possibilities.
4. What will be deleted
As part of a deletion we will in particular remove stored page and account mappings, tokens, technical connection data and, where possible, the associated app-specific configuration values. Posts already published on Facebook or Instagram remain unaffected and, if necessary, must be removed directly on the respective platform.
5. Inquiries
For questions about connection data, deletion or assertion of rights you can reach us at or via the Contact page.
Additional information can be found on the privacy page for NB Social and Meta-Connect as well as in the general Privacy Policy.
