Net-Base Services

Services

Custom software solutions, Delphi modernization, BDE replacement, REST and integrations for established processes, data and systems.

Our services target companies that are not merely seeking a new user interface, but resilient software for real workflows, clear responsibilities, and a technical extension path that remains viable years from now.

Typical project components

Analysis and structure

Business processes, user roles, data objects, platform targets and special cases are systematically organized before implementation.

Architecture and security

We define responsibilities early on between UI, Layer-3 business logic, data access, services, background jobs and deployment.

Delivery in stages

We implement complex initiatives in controllable increments so that new clients, REST servers and platform targets remain verifiable and operationally manageable.

Technically clean modernization of legacy Delphi applications

A common case in established companies: the domain logic is valuable, but the application still relies on old database accesses, historically grown tables or BDE dependencies. We modernize exactly these systems in a controlled manner and, if required, extend them with new platforms, services and interfaces.

Replace Borland BDE with native connectivity

We replace old BDE accesses and switch to native database drivers so that performance, stability, deployment and maintainability align again.

Reorganize database structure, REST and services

Tables, indexes, character sets, transactions, server logic and legacy special paths are organized so the data foundation is sound again for extensions, services and analysis.

Incremental migration without operational disruption

We plan the migration so existing workflows keep running while data access, user interfaces, Layer-3 structure and platform objectives are modernized in a controlled manner.

Typical modernization scenario

An existing Delphi application still relies on BDE, local file formats or legacy SQL logic. We replace these legacy burdens with native integrations, clean up data access and create a foundation for Windows, macOS, Linux, REST-servers and further expansion stages.

Why companies engage us

  • When standard software only maps processes via costly detours or unclear workarounds.
  • When existing Delphi logic is functionally valuable but must be technically reorganized for Windows, macOS and Linux.
  • When desktop software, REST-servers, services, permissions and data persistence should finally interact cleanly.
  • When operation, hosting, release processes, Windows 11 ARM64 and later maintainability must be considered from the start.

Do you already have a running system?

Then we do not start from zero but with a realistic inventory: what is stable, what slows you down, what can remain, where the database needs restructuring, which services are missing and which platform objectives should be rebuilt cleanly.

Frequently asked questions about our services

Especially with evolved applications the same functional and technical questions often arise. We clarify these points early, before an undertaking becomes a diffuse large-scale project.

Do you also take on existing Delphi systems?

Yes. We regularly step into evolved Delphi applications, analyse the inventory, data access, architecture and special cases and continue in a controlled manner.

Can REST-servers, portals and desktop clients emerge from a single project?

Yes. Especially for enterprise applications we deliberately plan these components together so the same business logic does not diverge across multiple bespoke solutions.

Is a BDE replacement possible without a complete exchange?

In many cases, yes. We decouple data access, SQL and deployment step by step from the legacy structure and build a native, maintainable integration.

Do you also accompany operation and further development?

Yes. Release processes, hosting, error analysis, database maintenance and subsequent extensions are part of our scope of work.
