GDPR and data retention

  • Captures consent and required fields at the time of submission.
  • Stores the request data required for processing server-side.
  • Can automatically purge processed requests after the configured retention period.
  • Allows a public contact address in obfuscated format for frontend output.

Processing and responses

  • Requests can be opened, answered and marked as processed directly in the backend.
  • Optionally, an acknowledgment of receipt is automatically sent to the sender.
  • Sent responses are documented on the request so that history and status remain traceable.

AI assistance

  • Can generate reply drafts via AI when a model and API key are configured.
  • Takes into account the form profile, request content and optional notes from the processing form.
  • The final response remains an admin decision and is not sent automatically.

Important limitations

  • Without functioning mail delivery the plugin continues to store requests, but sending and confirmations may fail.
  • Without a valid AI key the form system remains active; only AI drafts are not available.
  • The plugin is intended for capture and processing, not for fully automated helpdesk processes.
